For 32 years, Golden Lighting has been designing and marketing residential lighting fixtures to a network of independent lighting showrooms and E-Commerce retailers across North America. This company’s headquarters and distribution center is located in Tallahassee, Florida.  Golden Lighting currently employs 31 people and contracts with over 50 independent sales agencies.

General Description

The Vice President of Sales (VPS) reports to the President and is responsible for the company’s revenue and leading the development of the company’s sales across all market channels in North America. The VPS integrates the strategic plan with the sales plan of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide plans and strategies for developing new business and delivering profitable growth
- Sales representative management including territory analysis, field travel, recruitment, and training
- Lead and coordinate promotion plans, as well as control promotion budgets
- Direct and manage National Accounts in conjunction with the Sales Coordinator
- Lead in the establishment and implementation of short and long-term goals and objectives for company sales, sales representatives and territories, that are in support of the company’s strategy and objectives
- Provide sales forecasting analysis
- Compile and analyze data on prospective customers
- Responsible for the company's overall positive relationships with customers through its sales team or through strong personal relationships
- Continually monitor and evaluate the competition and look for openings to gain competitive advantage and gain market share; provide feedback to management
- Direct the duties and daily activities of the Sales Coordinators for both the Lighting Showroom and E Commerce channels

- 10+ years of experience in residential lighting industry
- Experience in National Account sales
