Are compact fluorescent (energy saving) bulbs compatible with Golden fixtures?

Compact fluorescent bulbs (energy-saving) are compatible with all medium-based socket fixtures.

Currently, all of our outdoor fixtures use GU24 fluorescent bulbs(and Energy Star approved) and we have no incandescent outdoor fixtures.
